ASP is not enabled by default on IIS 8.0.

You just have a new Windows 2012 server but cannot find Asp icon anywhere in IIS manager.

Follow simple steps below to activate Asp feature on IIS 8.0

Go to Server manager -> Manage -> Add roles and features

Select server -> next step Server Roles

Make sure Web Server (IIS) role is installed. Expand sub-option Web Server -> Application Development -> Select Asp, Server Side includes and other features that you may need

It's recommended to install Application Server role as well. This gives you management options to configure Asp.net settings in IIS manager.

Select Next -> Install to complete installation of new features.
