Steps to generate Certificate Signing Request for SSL certificate

+ Log on your server Remote Desktop

+ Open IIS manager under Start -> Administration Tools

+ Select Server Certificates in IIS manager

+ Select Create Request under menu on right panel.

+ Fill in details

Common name: your-domain-name

Organization: your-domain-name

and other details required

+ Next choose default Microsoft RSA Schannel Cryptographic Provider and 2048 Bit length

+ Specify location to save certificate signing request file.
